About Salient

Deal flow is everywhere.
Judgement is rare.

A curated, personal channel connecting European companies with private capital in Monaco and on the Riviera.
Private capital allocators are not short of companies to look at. They are short of time, and short of people they trust to tell them where to look. Deals arrive constantly, through the network, at dinners, after presentations, and almost none arrive vetted. Showing interest in the wrong one quietly costs weeks.
The platforms that list thousands of startups are built for volume. They optimise for breadth and leave the hard part, judgement, to the reader.
What salient is

A curated channel for private capital.

Salient is a curated deal flow and introduction platform for private capital in Monaco and on the Riviera. Every company is vetted before it's listed, presented with the context an allocator actually needs, and reachable through a direct introduction rather than a cold approach. Each profile carries a curator note, a considered take on why the company earns its place, so the judgement behind the shortlist is visible, not hidden.
Who is behind it
Lennart Kamsteeg
Founder
I grew up in Monaco and work in and around European private capital. I'm an investment analyst at a Monaco family office, and I built Salient because I kept meeting remarkable companies that never reached the private capital sitting quietly all around them. I meet the founders, write the notes, and make the introductions, but the value is the standard the platform holds to, not any single opinion.
I'm embedded in the Monaco and Riviera capital community, and that closeness is the point. When a company is on Salient, it's because I believe it deserves attention, and I can tell you why.

How the curation works
01
Personally vetted
Every company is understood before it appears. Nothing here is scraped from a feed.
02
Warm introductions
Requests come through me. Allocators are introduced properly, never cold.
03
Signal over noise
A considered list with real context, so a decision takes minutes, not hours.
